Long weekends are the best! For once, it was nice to get away and actually enjoy time away from the daily rinds of life. Hunter Valley was the perfect place to do it. The entire time i was there, i felt "at peace". The villa that we stayed at was in the middle of nowhere, yet 2 mins away from the main wineries. Most of the time, we spent the afternoon sitting in our room just listening to the birds and the lack of sounds. It was so peaceful!

Mornings were frosty but it wasnt long before i was warm again either from feasting on various cheeses, fudge, chocolate or tasting the occassional wine. I feel so fat!!! Time to get that winter workout routine started!

We also went to a few lookouts - Pokobin Mountain View Lookout and Bimbadeen Lookout. Both had great views of rolling hills and all the valleys surrounding it. It was surreal! I only wish i was able to take photos of it. My camera was out of action for quite a while..the batteries seems to be stuffed.

All in all, i had alot of fun even though we didnt do much. It must be the company that makes all the difference! :) Now to look forward to GOR. If only it wasnt 26 days away!
