Time to blog again! Oh the joys of procrastination.
Today i got my hair straightened. I had to arrive there at 10.30 which meant getting up at 8.30am. Boy did i struggle...i'm quite tired now actually...
Anyways, after many agruments prior to arriving at the salon, they finally relented and decided to giving it to me for $159. When i arrive, there were fears of how they were going to rip me off and stuff up my hair.
Fortunately, i must have taken a shine to them due to my quietness. Are you a type of person that likes to talk to your hairdresser while they're doing your hair? I mean, for a haircut its ok i guess, but it gets difficult when you have to be in there for 4 hours and their most fluent language is korean. Most of the time, even when i'm getting a cut though, i tend to stay quiet...even when they're doing something i didnt ask for...but cant seem to voice my dismay over.
Oh well, it turned out ok. Although i swear, i feel like i dont have any hair left after they yanked and pulled... plus my scalp feels burnt cause she had the iron sooo close to the roots. I jerked from pain many times. I was so happy when the guy who originally started on my hair shooed the girl away and continued it himself. He was even opinionated saying, no... i think you should do it like this... which is good! I want an expert to tell me what they like! He was nice cause he only charged me $160 instead of $169 (it was $10 for a trim)....plus his name was Min. Yay yay and double yay.
So here comes the torture, not being able to wash or dent my hair in any way for the next 3 days. No hair wettage, no hair clips, no bending hair behind ears.... so now i have to wonder... HOW do i shower? HOW do i sleep? How did i do it last time?
Anyways, enough about my obsession with hair....
My diet is going nowhere fast. I only played bball over the weekend...and eat heaps of carb crap... its a fruit detox week now. Btw, has anyone tried french cheesecake flavoured yoghurt? (Yoplait) Its actually quite nice and its 99% fat free! Go the taste!
In other news, Thao is officially jet-setting in 4 hours! So the next time i see her will be in Thailand. How odd does that sound? I cant believe i'm leaving for Europe in less than 3 weeks. Majority of the accomodation is booked...even though we've had some knock-backs! It had to be peak season everywhere!
Everythings going well...after POTI exam, i can officially begin to organise everything else.
