Saw this quote in the paper today and loved it:

"You cant live in a glass bubble all your life...once you get that irritating travel bug, that sense of adventure is hard to stop".

Today an old guy sat next to me on the bus and said to me: "are you chinese? are you mandarin? are you japanese? thai? malaysia". *minh shakes head* "can i ask what background your from?" *vietnamese*..."oh thats the only language i dont know".

Then he proceeded to tell me that the vietnamese were colonised by the french...yada yada. Anyways, he eventually told me that he's been recently diagnosed with a serious illness and that he didnt have long to go. So after speaking to his doctor he decided he wants to travel for the last time. He wants to see Europe in christmas and new years...because its one sight he has never seen even though he grew up in Europe.

That gave me the resolution to see as much as i can and when i can...cause memories last a lifetime and you never know what may happen in the future that could stop you from achieving everything you want in life.

I want to travel....
