Maroon 5 concert sold out...i'm too slow! I guess it wasn't meant to be. Got my income tax done, turns out i need to repay money. I was hoping for a refund - guess it wasn't meant to be. So ever wonder if things were meant to be?

Moral: Things happen for a reason.

Other notes, had an HCI meeting with some guys for Engineering. The guys name is Viet Cuong Le. Does this name sound slightly familar? Eek. Anyways, he told a great story...

If you were standing on level 28 of the tower building with only a watch and a book, how would you measure the height of the building?

• An IT student would use computers and satelines to measure wind speeds and make a project out of while.
• An average student would drop the book out the window and time how long it takes to hit the ground to determine the distance.

Moral: IT students like to make things more complicated then they are and use technology as an excuse to do it.
