I'm having a FANTASTIC WEEKEND! Loving every minute of it!!...

What i've been doing:

Friday
Went to work...nothing unusual there really.... Russel was at our work so i got to talk to him and Chris a bit. Chris ended up getting a hair cut!! :P I spent half of my day doing my runs and on the computer mass emailing. It was crazy the ammount of emails i got.

At lunch time.. i met up with the Mindy, Lish, Phil, Andrea, John, Julia, Mamo, Lowell, Ben and Claire for lunch! We eat at martins place steps and then went to play pool at hotel CBD. I didnt actually play cos it was too hot..and plus i suck at it anyways...lol.

After a hr or so lunch..(just cos it was friday) Mindy and i went back to my work and i showed her around. We went to the kitchen to check out the view and then down to the Bligh st building to finish off my runs. It didnt take that long.. we got to the QVB by 3.30 to meet Mel and Nel who were gonna join us in some shopping for Liv. Thing is, they didnt get there til heaps later.. so mindy and i did a lil shopping first and then decided to get some refreshments from New Zealand ice cream. I had a berry-lishious and mindy had a Make my day.

Mel and Nel met up with us..and after some initial catching up..we did some shopping for Liv. It was really bad..cos we had things in mind for her.. but we couldnt get them! Due to reasons i better not say in case she reads this.. teehee. In the end, maybe cos we took it too casually or something.. we didnt get ANYTHING! Out of desperation we got her flowers and a card. At least we got her something at least.

Dinner ended up being at Star City Garden Buffet.. even though we thought about different places..we ended up having it there. We all literally got "stuffed".. and didnt end up leaving there til about 10.30? It was a good catch up session though. I got to talk to the girls personally and just chill out. Nel had soo many stories to tell and stuff.. it was soo exciting! :)

We didnt end up going clubbing as planned and ended up just chilling at Lagoon Bar and "forcing" Liv to drink some cocktails. She had a strawberry daiquari and tolberone. They were quite nice! In the meantime...mindy and i were eying the Midori representatives. They were handing out these heart shaped midori glow things. We were trying to act cool as if we didnt want them and stuff.. and they took it literally! We were soo crush when they left the bar! Stupid Midori! They're sooo targeting the wrong market! It should have been US not those old Geezers! *ahem* I dont care anyways! :P

Moving on.. after nel and Mel left..followed by Mindy.. we all started to head home.. poor mamo wasnt feeling his right old self. So it was probably better we left earlier anyways.. i got home at around 1am anyways. Smelling very much like smoke! Urgh!

I ended up sleeping at around 2am that night! Cos Liv and i stayed up to talk afterwards! I was soooooooooooooo tired!!

Saturday
It was another day..and i was exhausted from the previous night. My plans for the day was to head to Bondi beach. Everyone (Nam, Andy, John, Koy, Andrew, Jonno, Jeremy, Moc, Will, Linda, Tessa, Judy, Minh, Hien, Will, Paul, and more i cant remember) was meant to meet at my place at 11.30..but then Will told me 12.30pm. So i slept in... next thing i knew..they're were ppl knocking at my door at exactly 11.30am. I had to open the door in my boxers and everything.. it was soooooo embarassing.. and to make it worse.. they yelled out to the others in the car.. "she was still sleeping"!!!

I had to get ready in about 10-15mins! It was horrible! Trying to orient myself and work out where everything was... in the meantime.. my friends were wondering around my house looking at all my baby photos and stuff.. it was tres embarasmont!

We met a few more at Bonnyrigg Maccas..cos there wasnt enough cars for the ppl down that way. Had a quick breakfast there..and then headed BACK to my house... where more ppl had gathered. They were playing a game of soccer in my front lawn when we arrived back! I should have just stayed home and got ready while they went to Maccas.

Ah wellz.. we got to Bondi Beach by 2pm after making a few wrong turns thanks to Moc and his constant whinging about Jpop. Even then..we got there before the other cars.. and they went a faster way then we did! Turns out they went back to Nam's house to pick up my very very late bday pressie! lol

At the beach.. we found a little spot and sunbaked the day thru. It was great.. Linda and i got to catch up on some "heart matters" and just chill really.. it was the best day i've had in awhile. Will spent most of the time with the other St. Johns boys. We did spend alot of time together in the water tho.. so that was good. Will and I were trying to dunk each other in the water. I'd say i WON! haha

After all that sunbaking my legs didnt manage to tan AT ALL.. my chest got a bit sunburned cos i forgot to reapply.. not sure if i even applied there...oops! Other then that..it was great fun! We didnt eat the entire day either.. which was bad.. we ended up going to The Red Hat restaurant down at kensington for dinner. What a bargain it was... they had massive portions there...and very very reasonable prices. Not to mention quick service. I'd definately give it a 4.5 stars! Its missing the 0.5 cos its in Kensington! Its not somewhere we can all get to very easily!

We were all soooooooooo full! There was even enough left over food for Jonno and Moc, Paul and Minh to eat... those guys are like bottomless pits.. or seagulls as i referr to them as! Always on the prowl for food! lol. Trust me..they dont get satisfied too easily!

And that was a wrap! We were at the beach til at least 8pm..and dinner til late. By the time everyone got dropped home..it was pretty late. I spent the night on the phone to the wee hours! 3am to be exact. I was on it to Mindy til 2am at least the then followed it up with Will........ah the luxury!

I love holidays!

Tonight..is DVD movie nite at my place! If i havent invited u already.. give me a call..! It should be fun! If anyone has any board games.. bring those as well! Thats all..Happy Australia Day guys!!
Oh and i should add this: Hit Tim's new site now.. he's cool! *ahem* lol
