HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope everyone had a memorable new years eve! I spent mine at two places.. firstly we went to Ken's house. At the time, there wasnt many ppl there..cos its was only around 6.30pm..but me and Will were bored at my place..so we decided to leave early. When we got to kens, jas was there having a BBQ from Woolies again with Kevin and Sarah! I wonder if he gets sick of it? Hmm... ;)

After sitting around for a bit, and watching Jas tell Anthony to wash the bbq grate thingy, Jenny arrived with Pat. I cant believe she actually came! We all havent seen her for yonkas! It was pretty much just sitting around at that point.. soon after thao and Halynh came..followed by Hana and then Anna. Oh yeh, and Will went to get Peter and Chi pang as well. That was pretty much the cosy little grp that was there. We had a dinner of sausages and bread, and for dessert, a fruit mixture! Quite satisfying surprisingly! :)

At around 9.30, we left for Tessa's uncles house for another New years party. We actually missed the 9o'clock fireworks cos we were too busy watching the Big 2002 awards on tv. Lame huh?

At Tessas, there was heaps of food and drinking by the GIRLS! The guys didnt seem to be touching the alcohol much. I think its cause they all brought their girlfriends along. So it was the girls doing the drinking this time. I saw..Tessa, Linda, Joey, Linh, Andrew, Nam, Lee, Peter and gf (who's name i forgot), Jonno, Jeremy, Minh, Alice and friend and alot of other familiar faces who's names i cant recall. Oh, a guy named Benson or Ben was there. He's a first year! Surprised he was there. I didnt say anything to him though, cos i dont really know him! But i remember him from camp! So if anyone knows him..tell him i said hi! :P

After helping Linda to dance after a couple of shots of sambuca and alcoholic punch, it started raining.. and there wasnt much shelter so we left to go back to Kens. I think the boys were itching to play game cube! haha

Houtan and Daniel made it to Kens whilst we were at Tessas. So they were already in the actions of Mario Party4 when we got there. Its a fun game to play with a big grp! I think its become tradition now! Mario Party was played at my house last year on New Years Eve. Only last year..Hien was there. I think Hien was a bit busy last night.He was with Judy for most of the night..*wink wink* I wonder if he even made it to Van's party like he said! lol

We pretty much left Kens at around 2.30am. It feels like any other nite to be honest. 2003 hasnt hit me just yet..but gosh..time really flies hasnt it? I've accomplished a few things this year..

I proud to announce that i didnt fail a single subject this year, plus i made closer and stronger friendships along the way with the help of a little SDD.. not to mention a few others who dont really fall under any category. Thats you BEN..i wonder if you bother coming to this site anymore? Cos i havent talked to ya for ages......miss talking to ya!

Thanks to everyones who's been apart of my life this year. Its been fun...so long 2002!

Now catching up on the past few days..i'll make this quick..

Saturday
I didnt do anything really..went shopping for about 3 hrs at Bankstown and got 2 tops and one item for my KK. I havent even finished buying the rest of the pressie and we're supposed to give them at Phils house on Monday. Oops! But i'm planning on going to Parramatta 2moro to book my hair appointment..so i'll probably grab something then. I brought one top for work, at 20% off as well..and another pink top. It was meant to be $24 but when i went to buy it at the counter, it was only $6.45! Whatta bargain i say!

After that, we went home and me and my sis pretty much spent the whole night at home by ourselves. Our parents went out again and didnt come home til about 1.30am this time.. what party animals!! lol I spent the night finishing off LOTR1. I managed to read the remaining 1/4 of the book in the space of 3-4 hours!

Sunday
Will and i went to see LOTR: Two Towers today! I was soo excited! I've been trying to read as much of the book as i can before i go see it. Theres no chance that i'd finish it before i get to see it considering i only just finished The fellowship of the Ring on Saturday nite! But i still managed to read about 1/5 of the 2nd book before going to see it..so that helped me to understand and picture as much of it as i can!

Its soo different once you've read the book though, cos i noticed things that they missed in the movie. Same with Harry Potter. Its quite dissappointing when they dont show bits u really wanted to see how the directors portrayed it.

Monday
I went to Parramatta. I was only planning on making a hair appointment..but than they had time and said they could do me today..so i got it done. My hair is heaps short now.. just above my shoulders at the front...but i quite like it. Though, i can see it being hair maintenance! Its fully layered...front and back..plus i got red foils put in! I love the foils! I might just stick to doing foils to my hair from now on! haha.

The hairdresser was heaps nice. She really askes you what you want and then gives her opinion without being pushy about it. Cos most hairdressers i've been too..they tend to not let you say NO to what they want for you..cos "they know best"..pfftt... Anyways, it took about 2 hours all up and i had an entertaining 2 hours at that. Its amazing what you see from all the customers and how they react to their cuts. All of them i have to say...fell in love with their cuts. I know i did when i left there..I'm definately going back to this place! Its called Kazan's and its on Level 5 oppos. Pets Paradise in Parramatta Westfields. My hairdresser was Rebecca! So theres my plug! My haircut, wash, shampoo and foils only costed me $55 all up! A bargain at that!

Right after, i went home..and got ready for Phils party. Mamo came to get us...i brought along soup, mamo brought pasta and cake, Julia brought roasted vegetables, lish brought Cous cous, Phil made Thai curry with rice, Sarah made spring rolls, Kevin made noodles, whilst Ed and Amy made sushi. They was sooo much food! We were stuffed! Nice food everyone!!

Well thats my week so far..i better get to bed now..work starts again 2moro......nite nite!

1. Mamo gave me a cute teddy bear...its sooo soft! Thank you soo much! He can spoil a girl silly! lol
2. Pat was my Kris Kringle and he got me a funky pair of sunglasses! What taste! What style..thats patty! :)
