Anna told me she was sick of my HAPPY NEW YEAR message...so i thought i'd better blog today! :)

Today
We went to Phils b'day bbq. It was a good day to chill out..and it was fairly breezy as well..the words that kept going over in my head were "easy, breezy, beautiful covergirl!" I think i said it out loud once, cos Sarah joined in! lol.

Will and I didnt get there til about 11.45am. The party was meant to start at 10am..i didnt think anyone would be on time..haha. 10am is just ridiculously early for a sunday!! When we got there, it was pretty much phil's frisbee friends (sarah and Alissa i think?), Lish, Ed, Amy, Viv and Phil of course! We couldnt seem to get the bbq started...so by the time we moved..Allan arrived, shortly followed by Sarah, Ken, Pat, and Anna. We had to move cos the bbq closest to us wasnt working.. which turned out better anyways, cos there was a nice sheltered area for all of us!

It was fullfilling meal of sausages, kebabs, chiplatas, hash browns, among the salad and snacks! Nice work Phil! Liv and Kenny brought along a strawberry sponge cake to top it all off... very satisfying! *pats belly* In between this all, Anna and i played a short game of cricket with the boys, before being called to cut the cake! Thank goodness too..cos it was hot out there..and Anna and i didnt exactly feel like running after the ball :p After cake, time was spent scaring ourselves with magpie stories.. cos there were crows running about.. big scary things!!

We also had a nice conversation regarding how far Pat would go for $5..from licking the entire sole of shoes to Ken's suggestion of tonguing an 60 yr old granny (what the??!!) lol. Next topic in line was how hairy the boys were and how Mamo's hair on his legs could possibly outdo the hair on his head. Ken offered him $5 for that challenge..i wonder why he turned it down? (duh!) With that in mind i'd say...Nice legs patty *whistles* He was the least hairless of the lot! =P

And that was the bbq. Afterwards, i think everyone else went home.. me and Will werent in the mood to head home yet...so we went to Auburn Reading Cinemas and watched Two weeks Notice. I didnt expect it to be that great of a movie..but i was pleasantly surprised..there are some funny bits..not bad in all..i'd give it a 3 stars! Next up, i really want to see Sweet Home Alabama. Amy tells me its really predictable though..but we'll i havent seen a proper chick flick in ages..unless u count Two weeks notice... and that was Will's idea too! hahha

Ok..to recount the last few days

Thursday
Back to work for me.. got home and mamo came to pick me up around 7pm. It was Phils bday today! Happy birthday Phil... as part of his surprise, we took him out for a surprise dinner at Taste of Tuscany! Thats a great place for food! We had the bruscetta, pasta followed by Phils bday surprise! We got a special order of gelato specially for us. It was a platter of gelato with all 12 flavours to share. We couldnt decide on one flavour...so yeh..we asked for it specially and even got to name it too.. the ppl there are really nice! I'd recommended it if your ever in Carlingford. Claire and I noticed though, that theyre quite consistent with the ppl they hire there..meaning..most of them have attractive qualities! lol

After dinner, we went back to Phil's house for a few games of billionaire. Proud to account that phil and Amy were tied at first followed by Claire, Ed, Mamo then Liv and I...so i sucked! It was the first time i played it! I was too slow.. next time but!!

Ended up home at around 2am and sleeping at 3.30am.

Friday
Had work...forgot to set my alarm cos of the late night! I died at work today! If my dad hadnt woke me up...i wouldnt have made it on time to work either. Luckily he was home and awake! He drove me to strathfield station to get the train from there..and i actually ended up at work early..! *phew*

I spent most of my lunch break sleeping though..not to mention on the train to Wills house. Speaking of the train..i went on the new Millenium train for the first time! It was pretty mad! Alot more cleaner and roomier...plus there's a board telling you which station your at and where it stops! Thats the only comment i'm EVER going to give to CityRail though...cos they suck!

At Wills house, we went biking riding! It was the first time i've sat on a bike since i was about 10 maybe? It was strange being on one again...but it was fun too. I didnt stack it or anything...yay! Will took me on an easy route thru Fairfield Showground, meaning just flat grounds..though he says next time were going on a different one. His sister warned me that its mainly all uphill..not looking forward to that just yet!! haha Btw, his sis Julie got me a nice brown top for no reason..thanks!!

Went home and slept that crazy..

Saturday
Went shopping at Hurstville with my sister. It was boring..couldnt find anything we wanted. Had sushi for lunch and then headed home. Spent the night working on a new layout before going to bed at 3.30am! The next layout is going to be really simple... but still fun i hope! Thats all..bye!
