What a hot and tiring day it was today! I cant really put a detailed blog up 2nite..cos my sis is waiting for me to get off..(sarah: i agree.. they get treated like princesses). Well...my interview...went really well actually. I woke up at a shocking 7am, really shocking considering i was on the phone with Ben til about 2.30am...and due to my nervousness..i also rang Will and we talked til about 3am. Thing is...i never actually got to sleep til about 4am! All habits die hard i say!Hopefully i'll be sleeping before 1am 2nite..cos i'm feeling really buggered atm.

Ooops, back to the interview. I got to Circulary Quay at around 9am! My appointment wasnt until 10am..so yeh..i pretty much had an hr to kill. It was pretty close to the station. My gosh..Governor Phillip/Governor Macquarie Tower is huuuuuugeeeeee! I was telling Will...that if there ever was an attack.. this tower would be the place to go. Theres business ppl rushing about everywhere. I was sooo nervous when i got there..it was SUIT CENTRAL! Everyone looked soo professional. I was just wearing a striped blouse with black pants and some heeled shoes. I was starting to really wish i wore a suit. It was just toooo hot but! Even at that time. That area definately looks like the place where all business happens. The cafes, the coffee, the convienience stores, the suits rushing and so forth..it was soooooooo intimidating. I'll name so of the buildings i was seeing as well...Macquarie Bank, AMP building, Wentworth building, Customs House, Canon headquarters, Commonwealth Bank, Wentworth hotel..(very poshy looking) and soo much more! I've never been to that side of the city thats for sure!

Anyways, since i got there soo early..i rang Will and Liv who ran over some interview questions with me. My phone bill is going to be huge..cos it was all in peak time and i killed about 1hr talking. Eventually, i walked into the building and sat in the lobby. All the paintings and sculptures in there..wow..i was fascinated! :) I called Andrew (my interviewer) at exactly 9.58am (not to be late or tooo eager). He came to meet me, and we went to a cafe called Bar Metro to have tea. He was a pretty friendly guy. Talked sooo much! I couldnt get a word in half the time... but anyways, he pretty much spent an hr talking to me about the company, and what i might be expected to do. He pretty much said i had the job.. which turns out to be support. I get to play with images in adobe..scan and convert files to pdf's..send and email files to clients...learn how to use their high tech equipment and solve any problems that can occur to them. Ppl will usually call for me to come fix it. So yeh, its a pretty overall role. I wouldnt know what the title would be. But it sounds ok.. maybe even fun. Good enough for me..

Thing was, he assumed i wanted to work as well as do uni. Meaning only work for him part-time or on a casual basis. After he realised i wanted to work for a full-year as part of my industry training.. he was pretty happy. He said he could really use my skills for a year. Though, he reckons they job he had in mind for me initially would be a bit too dull to do for the entire year. So...he took another copy of my resume, and said he'd have a talk to HIS BOSS and see what they can do with me. He said he'd be in contact with me soon... hope so! I really want to work next year..i've decided i've had enough of studying for awhile..i need to focus on working and see where my interests take me..before i go back to uni. Maybe then i'd have a better idea as to what i really want to do in life.

After that i treated myself to shopping! I walked from Circular Quay..all the way to Pitt St. It was sooo stinking hot too..and i was wearing the work clothes. Good thing i brought i change of clothes! Still..i was still wearing the black pants! They were HOT as.. i tried to find a skirt to buy.. but i didnt find any i liked or felt was worth buying! Ah wellz..

After an exhaustive 5hrs of shopping i decided to catch the train to Wills house. Thing was, there were power surges! I was stranded at Lidcombe station for i dunno how long......it was hot and everything..luckily..just as i was about to call my dad to come get me.. the train came! I made it all the way to Wills house.. (he told me to come over).. only when i got there he wasnt home. He went out to play snooker with the guys.. which got me pretty annoyed. I should have just gone home..
If it wasnt for the air conditioning at his house..i'm not sure i would have stayed.. Will apologised in the end..so its all good!

We went to Halynhs house to play games after dinner..thing was..i was soooooo dead tired. The lack of sleep really got to me..i was yawning constantly! Eventually i asked Will to take me home...he had to go pick up his sister from a play anyways..so yeh..here i am now..still..really really..tired! Will's probably still playing games...like he was last nite..til 2am! Boys and their toys!

Oh, i just remembered..i havent told my parents that i'm leaving for Ulladulla soon! I cant wait..then i can wear my new swimmers! Oddly their kinda the same as Mindys Same pattern and everything..just the style is kinda different. Anyways...really tired. Got to sleep! Nite all!
