hmm...all work and no play equates to a very boring minty. Let see what i've done soo far..

Yesterday
Was somewhat more of an entertaining day than the other days have been. I went to work at usual. It was casual friday..so lucky me got to wear sneakers. I've been waiting all week long to be able to do that! My feet arent handling work shoes really well..i guess i'm not used to wearing them. Anyways, i had a fully bludgey day today. Deb, Leon and me got most of our work done by around 10-11am! I think its cos we only had 2 breaks in between or something.. but we got it done extra fast today even though we werent really in the mood to. So we decided to end early and have a 2hr lunch break. Luckily for us, its catering friday. So theres was heaps of food for us. Hurray for free food!

Will the sweetie, met me for lunch. He brought sushi for me to eat too.. good thing it was sushi..cos i would have been too full to eat anything else. That would have been slack too, cos he walked all the way from town hall to circular quay just to get it for me! :) It was a warm day, so we decided to eat at the Botanic Gardens. It was cool and breezy under the trees there! Total bliss...! After laying on the grass for about an hour, we took a walk half way round the gardens before deciding to have some ice cream before i had to head back.

When i got back to work...none of us felt like hanging around trying to kill time. We finished everything already.. so we decided we might as well go for drinks. Off to home bar we went. It was really relaxing there... they had some rad chilling music just sitting. We just sat under the umbrellas knowing we should really be working...lol. So..has anyone been to home bar? Is it just me...or are the guys there HOT? I know i shouldnt be looking..but i didnt touch..so all good! Besides, Will doesnt seem to mind me talking about it! :P But anyways, yeh..they were really spunky looking. This one guy, when i went up to order... he did some really flashy moves. The whole flipping of the bottle and stuff.... definately got my attention! On top of that, i asked for a frappe..and he made me a mixed one..cos i couldnt remember what i wanted in it..then he added some nice decorations to it.. fruit on the sides of the glass and everything. I felt special! I think he was looking for a tip though... which i didnt leave...haha But yeh, everything saw what i ordered and asked me what it was.. they were pointing at me and saying to their friends..."look at her drink. I wonder what it is...". They ended up asking the bartender what it was..and he made them one.. but he didnt add any of the decorations and stuff he put into mine! Woohoo...go me!

I had quite a few drinks there.. we hung around the bar for about 3 hours.. next time were gonna try cargo bar. It was packed when we got there..so yeh.. next time it is! :)

After drinks, they had to leave and getting ready for dinner with friends at Glebe Point Rd. So i said my goodbyes... It was weird saying goodbye..i'm never gonna be working with them again..and who knows if i'll ever see them again. I somehow think, they came into my life for a reason.. for now..i dont know what it is.. but maybe one day...

I decided to go shopping afterwards, so i headed to Pitt st. I met up with Lowell and we hit a few shops. We went into Surf Dive and Ski..and you wouldnt guess who we saw there.. it was Noel and Charlotte! As soon as i saw Noel..i cracked up soooooooooo badly. What was the chances? They really ARE twins! If your reading this Mindy...it was soooooo funny! I wish u were there..! Lowie was heaps embarassed, cos he said i was "soooooo obvious". Charlotte and Noel probably think i'm weird now! Ah wellz...twins lowell, twins!!!

A few more shops later and a walk down..we were at Nels work. She has a heaps cool office! Lots of rooms and a friendly atmosphere by the sounds of it. Least the ppl there knew her name.. u definately won't get that at my office! Lowie decided to leave us after we picked up Nel..cos he was gonna crash the pre dinner drinks christmas party at PONL. So us girls shopped to help Nel find a pressie for her sis. She got a really good UAI, and she wanted to get her a celebrating gift...oh and an xmas pressie as well. She got her a mambo bag and a Toni Braxton Christmas cd. Well..least thats what she wanted to get her. We couldnt find it anywhere...and i left to go shopping at Bankstown before she found it. I wonder if she did....????

I fell asleep on the train and didnt feel like shopping at Bankstown anymore. There werent any lights on in the square..and i didnt want to get off at 8pm at Bankstown. So screw that! I just went home and had an early nite! :)

Today
Shop shop shopping! I had to get up really early too.. so much for being able to sleep in! We went to parramatta in the morning.. got a few groceries and then we had do some serious christmas shopping. I got my some christmas pressies for my second cousins. I got Aidan a Toy Story 2 DVD, Ashley a doll and some hair clip sets and bangles, Tianna a walking puppy that bounces and stuff... Alicia a magican toy that pops out windows and stuff. Its fun shopping for the kids. We went to the disney store and couldnt decide what to get them..theres soo many choices..and there were kids EVERYWHERE. It was crazy..i was surprised we managed to get parking at all. By the time we did the shopping for the kids, our parking ran out..so we had to go. But not to worry, since its open 32hrs on monday onwards...i plan to drop by then. Maybe around 10pm? Go home..get the car..have dinner and a nap before heading out! Me and my sister reckons its sounds like fun..for a guy though..i reckon it'll be a nightmare! lol

We went to Bankstown after our parking died and got a few more necessities. Got some gift wrap, and i managed to find time to buy myself a top and a pair of sunglasses from Portmans. Just stuff to wear to work. I got paid yesterday..so i thought now was a good time as any to start buying some work clothes! Yay! Hmm..and why is it that, whenever u have money you can never find anything you really want to buy? I want to get a nice black flowy skirt...but i havent found one i liked yet. I wanna get a nice haircut and some foils as well. Only i dont know any good hairdressers to get it done from. Does anyone want to recommend me a hairdressers that isnt Toni and Guy? Thats just way tooooooooooo expensive. My sis recommended one in strathfield.. so maybe i'll got there..or maybe to Parramatta. There's this place with a discount when u get a cut and blowdry. 5 free foils! :) Thats pretty good i think! I wonder how many foils i'll need for my hair?

Anyways, my sister's at Carols in the domain atm...and my parents are watching some vietnamese music video..on FULL BLAST! I cant hear myself think! So time to sign out and maybe do some more LOTR reading.
