hey all...I've been back since Wednesday arvo but i havent had a chance to blog here since..its been busy as. Ok, the plan was that i come back on friday or Sat from Ulladulla..only things didnt go as plan. Many things didnt go as planned.. here's how it went..

Monday
I woke up early expecting to be picked up by bjorn and the crew. They were supposed to get me at 9.30am..only add some FILO TIME to that..and you get 10.45am? Now tell me..hows that figure?? :P Anyways, cos they were sooo late, Hana and Leon ended up at my house. We just hung out listening to some Craig David before Mindy finally pranked to announce their arrival. They stopped in front of the wrong house though? So i wonder... did Bjorn and Co go to the wrong house last time they came to "pick me up" for Port Stephens?? lol

The road trip was fine.. i was sitting in Hana's car with Leon.. we were discussing.. not sure. Forgot now... Most of it was in awe of how slow Bjorn seemed to be driving. He was meant to follow us the entire way.. but at about Hurstville we totally lost him. Hana was driving really slow too so that he could catch up! At one stage, Hana slowed down completely while the lights were green at an intersection. Most of the cars behind us were overtaking us and probably thinking..."Echos must be really slow!" haha. Eventually when we hit the freeway.. after going at less than 28km/hr we decided to go on ahead without them. How hard can it be? Its just straight roads!

The trip took us about 2 1/2hrs including one wrong exit. It wasnt too bad though. Oh and i have to say..thanks for Leon for being sooo prepared. He brought some lollies and breakfast bars for us to munch on while we were there. There wasnt anywhere to stop at really to eat! We were travelling through country roads bopping to the CD i burnt whilst waiting for the filos and Mindy! Oh and he also brought a handy map. I'm not sure me or Hana could have navigated our way to the house on Garside st/rd/ave without that! Thanx Leon

We arrived at the house to find mostly everyone had just crawled out of bed. We got there at around 2pm as well! So that was just a taste of how holiday life is! I was excited. The bad thing tho, was that it was sprinkling when we arrived. So it wasnt much of beach weather.

I cant recall much of that nite.. but i'm sure Mindys account was accurate. I'm going to cheat now... you can read all about Ulladulla from Mindys blog. Cos i cant remember most of it! :D

Thursday
The mean reason why i had to leave early was because i had a job interview with the head of Compumenn. He came down from Melbourne to sort out some problems, so they thought i'd might as well meet him while he was in town. My interview was at 9am. Talk about confusion and embarassment! Mark (CEO of Compumenn) asked me to take the lifts up to Level 50 and meet him in the lobby. Thing was, when i arrived there...there was noone there..and there was NO LOBBY! I was walking around really lost...til a woman asked me where i wanted to go and who i wanted to see. All i remembered was the name Mark Taylor. So she took me inside and rang to find out where Mark was. They told me Mark was only ever in once a week and that he must have known he had an appointment with me today. That he wasnt the type who forget his clients. So they rang his mobile and asked what my name was.. the Mark Taylor never heard of me..and didnt know he had to meet me.. So thats when i got really confused. Turns out that theres 2 Mark Taylors on the same floor. As i was leaving the office..i bumped into the RIGHT Mark Taylor. How confusing and embarassing! Especially for the first meeting! haha

We went to an cafe downstairs in Governor Phillip building and discussed IT prospects. He's really easy to talk to. You wouldnt guess that he was the CEO! After our chat, it was decided that i'd work for Compumenn as a casual until i could find a fulltime job more IT related. He was more than happy to take me on full-time, the only thing was that he thought i'd be wasting my talent because the job he had in mind wasnt really IT based and any growth with that company would be in the printing industry. So we decided to put me on casual for the holidays and i could decide later if i want to work fulltime after if i cant get a better job. So its all up in the air still.. but i'm happy with it!

So after that meeting, i went to Quayside centre and got changed. I was glad i brought a change of clothes. It was soooooooooo hot. I walked all the way back to Town Hall to meet up with Will. We just did some christmas shopping.. i brought him some clothes. A t-shirt and some funky 3/4 pants. Mindy reckons i'm trying to change his dress sense.. and dont tell him.. but yeh..i'm doing it slowly and subtley. *sssshhhh* He doesnt mind as long as i BUY the clothes for him. Tho, there are just some things he simply wont wear cos he reckons its gay!! :P

Other than that, i didnt get anything for me..other than a top to wear to work. It was a bargain too...! *Yay* Me and Will planned on watching The Ring at the cinemas as well...only we bailed in the end..cos the Greater Union/Hoyts/Village has crappy seats. You cant pull up the arm rest thing...i'd rather go to Wetherill Park. We shopped from Pitt St to Central that day. So we were tired as well. We went to Wills house after that. Sorry for dragging you round with me babe...!

After eating at Wills house.. where his mum suggested that i was "fat"... not really. She said to Will that "he was going to make me fat with the kind of food he feeds me". So i got the impression she was saying i'm fat. She's right though, i really need to lose some weight! Anyways, after eating...i got tired and slept the rest of the night!!! I was dead tired after Ulladulla and from the early start.

Friday
I had to get up early again! Another meeting with Mark. He was supposed to show me around the company on Thursday..only he had to rush off to a meeting...so i arranged to meet with him again at 9am. I was only expecting to be there for about an hr or so...we i ended up working til 12.30pm. I got to meet and hang round the ppl i'm going to be working with from now on. I'm working with a couple! They're backpackers from the UK! I was sooo fascinated with them! All the countries they've been too and all their experiences. I wouldnt have the courage to backpack and for sooo long as well. They're fresh outta uni and didnt know what they wanted to do with their lives... so they decided to travel the world! They're only 22 as well..! Their names are Debbie and Leon and theyre really cool to be around. One of those funny and teasing couples. Work in definately going to be interesting! Cos theyre with each other 24/7 its funny the things they do to each other...like smashed each others heads on the photocopying plates and copy it... soo funny!

I love the building i'm working in (Governor Phillip building in Circular Quay). I work on the 50-60th level. My ears pop badly when i have to come down! Its an express lift that goes straight to 50-60. But yeh, the view from there is amazing! Theres a little canteen/coffee area that we can go to on our breaks. It looks over Botanical gardens and all the water around there. Its sooo beautiful. I hope to be able to get myself an office there ONE DAY and have a view like that!

I'm a contractor for Compumenn and i'm working for Mallesons Stevens and Jacques Solicitors. A very poshy place i tell ya. I have a security pass just to get into the offices of every floor. Not to mention thats theres a library floor in the building as well. All these law and tax books. Maybe i can make use of those when i do my accounting subjects! :) Other than that, its a pretty bludgey job. I'm doing the paper round atm, which means i go round on every level and fill up printer trays with paper and check that everythings in working order! Not bad for $16/hr

Anyways, after work i did some MORE shopping. I brought some new shoes! Something thats comfortable yet decent enough for work. I have to do alot of walking..so yeh.. it got a pair of white flats that are kinda pointy at the top. Hard to explain!

Oh...my lunch break is usually around 12pm..so if anyones working near the circular quay..or in the city somewhere.. lets do LUNCH! (hint hint: NEL):) Cos i dont want to be a 3rd wheel round Debbie and Leon. I'm sure they'd want some private time! :P

Thats pretty much my day on friday. I went home early..cos it was sooo hot and i was feeling buggered.

Saturday
Went shopping at DFO, Chullora and Bankstown. Didnt find anything i wanted.....went home...did nothing!

Today
Stayed home..watched some Fruits baskets anime.. painted my nails and toenails...(how girly! :P)... read some more of Lord of the Rings..blogging now! Better get some rest now..i start work at 8am! Working 5days a week.. that means i can hit the uni gym after work tooo.. yay! I've been feeling outta whack lately. Finally some routine in my life! Laters guys!! :)
