Good afternoon all! Wow..its been an exciting day so far! I'll just come out and say it..I have a job interview tommorrow! It was so unexpected! I just rang the a phone number to see if there were any jobs available and he said.. yes. Could you come meet me 2moro? I cant believe it. Now i'm feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness. He didnt tell me what i had to bring, but i'm assuming my portfolio. I cant seem to find it anywhere tho. I havent had to use it for awhile. Now i have less than one day to update and fix everything in it!

The bad side of it is that, its going to be really really hot 2moro! So what the hell am i going to where? I dont wanna turn in looking like an oily piece of tuna! :P I really hope theres something there available for me...because i really need a job now. Its getting to the desperate stage. Yesterday i got a rejection letter from the Australian Tourist Commission. I applied for an IT traineeship there before.. and i didnt get it. I kinda expected that anyways, because i hadnt heard from them for months. I don't expect to hear anything from the other jobs i've applied for on seek either. But i'll remain hopeful.

I really dont want to go back to uni next year. It'll be really unmotivating to study without my friends there.. and secondly, i dont really feel like studying anymore. I think i need a break from uni and try and get a job so i can get some experience. Anyhoos, enough about that depressing thoughts. Onto last nite.

Yesterday and Last night
My sister got a new phone yesterday. Its a Nokia 6510. Its quite cool actually despite its initial chunkiness. It has a blue-white light and its pretty much like the 8310. Only its more recent and probably more affordable. Still i was quite annoyed that she got it! My parents paid for all of it upfront. They paid a good $600 in cold hard cash! I couldnt believe it. My parents pay for my phone, thing is...that was my reward after the HSC! Unlike other ppl who got promised cars and so forth..i got a mobile. My sis on the other hand, got her reward after the HSC of $500 in CASH! She pretty much blew it all on clothes and the like... now..cos she managed to transfer to Maths and Finance from maths..she gets a phone. That is soo unfair i think... she has all these incentives...yet my parents never offer me that type of incentive. They reckon i dont need the incentive... still...should i be penalised for doing things on my own and not needing their encouragement? Should i be penalised for getting into the course i wanted....? Sometimes i think my sister is always favoured. It always get the bad end of the stick.. and i think thats the way its always gonna be.. being the oldest can suck! Does anyone else have favouritism in their family?

So being the balanced and all in fairness person i am *lol* i fully argued my point and... my big incentive is... a CAR! Honestly i'm starting to wonder if i'm ever going to get it. I've been promised it over and over again...but we'll see if it'll happen! I'll never complain about injustice again if i got it! *hmm..maybe not* I'd have to share it with my sis eventually anyways. Ah wellz..

Moving on to the later half of the day... Mamo, Ken, Sarah, Poh, Pat, Jas, Will and i went to bowling at Fairfield AMF. It was heaps fun! The competition was.. all the couples against the singles. So the teams were:

1. Sarah, Ken, Will and me
2. Poh, Pat, Mamo and Jas

The bet was.. that whichever team won...would get a free meal to the value of $6.50 for each team member. It was a close game indeed! Near the end... Couples were 2 pins down.. then it was 2 pins up.. 2 pins down then it was 18 pins up.. and it was a winning streak from then on! Sarah and i certainly performed under pressure scoring a strike each and for sarah a spare consceutively (that looks wrong) to victory. We each had an extra go cos it was in the last round. It was heaps fun..there was excitement in the air!

Afterwards, we went to Diem something...a cafe in Canley Heights to trade in on our victory! The food in all was ok... and then it was off to mounties! We wanted to play snooker.. but then the snooker section was closed by 10.30pm...so we ended up in the lounges playing Keno. Ken and Pat won $44 each again! With the winning numbers being 26, 27, 37! What luck...26 was my number..! Yay!

I got a bit addicted with the probability of winnning after that, me and mamo were playing Mock keno after that! I can be quite the gambler given the chance i reckon! Mamo after a few rounds decided to play..and ended up winning $2... he actually put in $4... but still..least he got some of it back.. better than the chances with lotto thats for sure!

After that... it was a trip home... i had a really nice night out. Can't wait til the next gathering now. Were meant to be going to Mamo's 2moro.. but unfortunately i have my interview.. but i'll drop by when i can! Then its Poh's movie night on friday! That'll be heaps fun too..i have no idea where she lives..its somewhere in parra... but yeh.. i'm sure we'll find our way! Anyways..i better get going and fix up my portfolio and stuff..

PS. Going to see "The Ring" with Will later 2nite.. hope its not too scary! lol
